i haven't been able to use my powerbook for a week already... :( last weekend the power cord connecting the AC adapter to the mains started shorting and sparking and i've sent it in to the Apple service centre for replacement, hopefully under warranty.. but they didn't have any spares, not even to loan me.. They have to order a replacement cable from singapore or somewhere... :( So I had to reluctantly shut down the machine (which i seldom do.. usually just let it sleep) and leave it at home. can't do anything with it..
