Just came back from the gastrointestinal specialist where I had an endoscopy done. That's the procedure where they stick a tube with a camera attached down your throat and esophagus to have a look at the inside of your stomach. Yes it feels as bad as it sounds. As some of you might already know I've always had gastric reflux for quite a while already and I thought might as well have it checked out and see if there's anything that can be done about it.

Well some people take the procedure calmly but I was gagging and retching all the way. Probably didn't help that I was still recovering from my flu and had mucus dripping down the back of my nose.

Ugh.

Unfortunately, the scan was inconclusive cos i still had leftover undigested food from lunch, among other things, and I have to go back for another scan next week, also to give me some time to fully recover from my flu.

Ugh. It still feels horrible. I lost all appetite after that, and even now I feel some discomfort in my throat and stomach. Maybe I'm just imagining it. Maybe...
