I spent about an hour just playing around with GarageBand, Apple's latest addition to the iLife suite last night, and I can safely say it is fun, fun, fun! The interface is pretty intuitive and I figured out how to add tracks and loops easily, and pretty soon was 'composing' my song from 80s synth pads, deep house bass beats, pop drumkits, latin saxaphones and the odd guitar riff here and there. No, you wouldn't want to hear it. Seriously. Maybe when I arrange something that's better thought out.
