The technological advancements coming out of Japan never ceases to amaze me. This time, it's something a bit high-tech and low-tech at the same time...Paper-based optical discs. With 51% paper content, it allows "a high level of artistic label printing" as well as being easily destructible for sensitive information. The discs use 'blu-ray' technology which squeezes 25GB of data. So much for the paper-less office, huh?
