I've just bought a bicycle yesterday. It's second-hand mountain/hybird bike but it's less than a year old and hardly used. It looks brand new and I got a good deal for it. Cost me $240 for the bike and all the accessories -- lights, lock, helmet and pump.Melbourne's a pretty bike-friendly city with dedicated trails and bike lanes throughout, especially in my area. This will be a good way for me to get out and around more and also improve my fitness. One of my justifications for buying the bike is that if i actually start using it to go to work, i'd save heaps on my current public transport costs. In just 3 months my bike would have paid for itself.
